Fretless neck, looks like it’s started life as a fretted and been freed from those pesky metal bars !

This was on my upright banjo bass which was a project. It’s In need of some love and it’s gathering dust so a potential project for someone else to fix up. £10 plus p&p.

No idea what this came from originally. It was on a the banjo bass which was a project put together by an acquaintance 10 years ago. In its project form it was used as a 4 string (4 string nut/bridge etc) so I assumed that originally it was a 6 string neck selected for its width to make it work with the banjo bass project.

62.5 mm is pretty much standard 4 string heel width.

Agreed so possibly like Bassman72 says 5th and 6th Tuning peg holes added later?

The relative unknowns of its origin and Condition is why I’ve listed at this price. Rather than it gather dust it might be useful to someone
