What a beauty! I've been gassing over one of these for a while, and the sound would suit the new band I'm standing in for at the mo, and this listing is doing feck all to help!

If I didn't need to pay out a similar amount of cash next week for Council Tax I'd be all over this.

Thunders do come up all the time, admittedly not usually as purty as that one - or quite as cheap. Sold for £100?

Damn, no more bids? Someone got a steal. Admittedly those photographs didn't really do it justice

The first Bass I bought was a Westone thunder 1 in Natural, it was a hound of an instrument the tone was awful and it weighed a ton. I soon replaced it with an Aria SB which was a similar price but twice the instrument. I would go for a Thunder 3 if one comes up it's vastly superior.

I seem to recall the action was very high and it went out of tune in a very short space of time - which was very frustrating at the time.

Might have been just a bad one but then again it was 25 years ago!

It does look in good condition though...
