Pea Turgh Posted January 1, 2018 Posted January 1, 2018 Hello. Ive been getting in to pedals over the last year or so. It started with a tremelo for my pianet, then an octaver for my bass, an analogue echo for general mixing Ā and so on. Now IĀ need somewhere to put them, so hereās theĀ fruits of this eveningās labours... 1. Started off with a few planks taken from an oldĀ bed base. 2. Cut to size (ish - Iām too impatient to wait for the correct tools). 3. Remember to charge the effinā screwdriver! 4. Glooo and scroooo 5 & 6. Not looking too bad! Ā Next Iāll need to fill the duff holes, give it a sand, then apply whatever suitable finish I find in the shed. Then Velcro up and see if I can attach the power supply to the underside, andĀ finally attach some rubber feet on the bottom. Whattaya fink? Ā 1 Quote
Andytre Posted January 3, 2018 Posted January 3, 2018 Looks good! My diy pedal board was just12mm ply cut to shape and then just painted black! Did the job but wasn't pretty! Quote
Thunderpaws Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Looking good. I made one like that then decided to re-do it. Turning out ok, finishing touches when I finalise my pedals.Ā Power cables all run underneath a panel that sits in a recess.Ā 1 Quote
Pea Turgh Posted January 20, 2018 Author Posted January 20, 2018 With three small kids, time to do self-indulgent DIY projects is somewhat limited, but I finally borrowed a sander and got to the shed to find some Ronseal! I forgot how fun making stuff is! Tomorrow itās on to Velcro and rubber feet (for the pedal board, cheeky). Quote

Might have gone a different direction myself had I seen this one first! Edited January 20, 2018 by Pea Turgh Quote

Might have gone a different direction myself had I seen this one first! Hey Pea Turgh, I wanted to protect the top of my pedals a bit so the rim sits just a tad higher than my tallest pedal. Fairly simple construction. Iām about to do a new one once Iāve made my new workbench and my Pork and Pickle pedal arrives. Iāll then do a guitar specific board and a bass board. Right now this does both.Ā Quote
Pea Turgh Posted January 21, 2018 Author Posted January 21, 2018 Almost done! Ā Ran out of Velcro for the power supply, so that will have to wait for now. I was going to try to fit it underneath. Iām also now thinking of ways to make the power cables neater. Maybe cable ties. Still, not bad for bits I had lying around! Quote

Pea Turgh Posted May 16, 2018 Author Posted May 16, 2018 Version 2 - mini! I concluded having all my pedals on one board was daft, so this one will take justĀ four pedals. Measured, cut, sanded, assembled, treated and fitted last night after work - boom! Quote
