basskid14 Posted October 13, 2008 Share Posted October 13, 2008 howdy. i'm a 14 year old american kid who saw some sweet bass pics on this site, and decided to sign up. i've been playing for two years, and i currently have 2 basses: a black and white FX P-style rip off i got for 103 British Pounds on ebay, and a silver ibanez SRX 300 i got free from a friend. My Great Uncle was a bass player for nigh on 50 years, but developed arthritis in the wrist. he made a living as carpenter, so now he makes upright electric basses out of recycled wood, mostly rose and cherry wood. beautiful pieces. www.barkerbass.com . any tips, advice or other ramblings i can get from the older and more experienced?
