TC RS112 and Eden EX112

I am looking to complete a lightweight rig and, after some deliberation, have decided on the 212 modular route. I will be using an Eden WTX500, with an active fiver (steels) and am aiming for a hi-fi sound (I play mostly contemporary gospel) that I can alter with effects (for the soul stuff I play less often). I don't want to spend more than £400 on a couple of cabs.

I have tried the TC and liked it. Is there enough power in its 200w for rehearsals and small gigs?

It's very unlikely that I'll get to try the Eden.

Does anyone have experience of both cabs? If so, how do they compare?

Cheers,

Tobie

Hi got two rs 112s from thomann for the price of one in the uk!....£365 shipped
i like the sound....the top end is not as clinical as some cabs, but this suits me
fine....after all, we are bass players lol

200 watts will be fine!....people use one cab with the RH 750 with no problems.

The Eden cab is very light and loud - a great value. However, keep in mind that it doesn't have any tweeter, and rolls off at higher frequencies quite fast. It has a vintage/dark sound, and if you like this, it's a good cab. I sold mine and got a TC Electronic RS210, as I missed some top end.

Ive used this set up for small gigs with plenty of headroom and it sounded good.
