Not trolling. It is just my opinion. I am not saying that he wasn't a great player (he obviously is), just that his lines were often busier than they needed to be

Fair point. I wish I had his ability too, I prefer simple understated lines with some fills. That doesn't mean just sitting on the root or anything lines can be melodic without being overly busy

I just think Jamersons sense of musicality is way above that of most of us which kinda sounds like he's overplaying so personally I dont think he does...the guy is just extraordinarily musical.
