Bilbo Posted May 25 Posted May 25 I loved that track. The octave divider was THE Pino sound of that era. Pino comes from Cardiff where I started my Jazz playing but I am pretty sure he had already left when I started playing there. I ate at his family's restaurant once but never met or saw him play. Laurence Cottle and Percy Jones were fairly local to there also (Swansea and Llandrindod Wells, I believe). 1 Quote

Bilbo Posted Wednesday at 17:57 Posted Wednesday at 17:57 Impressive, Chris. That's a hell of a piece of work. Did you work out the chords yourself (I really struggle with that)? Quote

Did you work out the chords yourself (I really struggle with that)? Thank you 🙂 Working out the chords can definitely be a challenge, especially in improvised music—I often struggle with that too. If I didn't focus on the chords, I'd probably be able to double my output 🙃 In this case I had a lead sheet.. Cluster chords are the hardest. I've been trying to figure out the chords for this one for over a year... Edited Thursday at 11:19 by ChrisDev 1 Quote
