dmccombe7 Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) I've bought a 2nd hand 2003 Ampeg SVT4 Pro and don't know how old the tubes are. Was thinking of changing them to make sure i'm getting the best out of the amp. I know the 1st tube is a Groove Tube 12ax7 but can't find anywhere that tells me what make the other 2 12ax7 are. 1. Can anyone help clarify. ? 2. Where is best place to get replacements ? 3. Are there any tubes you would recommend other than originals and why ? Any help appreciated.
