TRADED

Hi guys,

I have a new X2 XDS95 wireless for sale.
http://line6.com/xds95/

Unfortunate story for me - possible gain for you..
I bought it two weeks ago in basscentral, and because I am in Czech Republic, it does not work here.
Before purchase I was reading posts by some guys who successfuly used it in UK and other in Germany, so I thought here in Czech it will work too.
Well, it doesnt - it transmits the bass signal, but there is too much interference from our network in Czech.

However, it is proven to work in UK!!
Check these threads:

The UK user patkyle wrote in response to a German guy:

[i]Hi Tuffnik
I have a XDS95 system in the UK and have had no problems with interference on any of the channels. I used a frequency meter from my works to check the transmit frequencies and found that they were : Ch1 905Mhz, Ch2 910Mhz, Ch3 915 Mhz, Ch4 920Mhz and yes you guessed it Ch5 925Mhz. So if you think you gave clear bands between 915 - 925 Mhz you should be ok. I think you will find, like me, that there is no problem from GSM interference. I have used my XDS95 system while using my GSM phone and the phone will drop out but not the XDS system. I hope that this is of some use to you.

So this is brand new unit, it came inside Sadowsky case with my new MS5.
I asked guys at basscentral to put it inside Sadowsky case to save extra packaging, so it does not include the original cardbox. It came packed in bubblewrap.

It was never used on stage or on rehearsal, only at home - only to realize that it has no use for me here..

I will pay a shipping to UK.

The current street price in US is $299, I am asking $250 (£130) shipped to UK, Paypal is OK.

You maybe know it is widely considered probably the best and cleanest wireless system to date, undistinguishable from the cable.

Trade for other wireless is possible.

here is a pic of how it came - packed in bubblewrap, no original cardboard box:

Does anyone have any dealings with Nemo? As he was a noob at the time, I said I was "interested" but would only pay, full asking price, once I had received the item. (I never have understood why buyers are expected to take all the risks) Anyway I gave a link to my "feedback history" on Bass chat as independant proof of *my* honesty on here.

I never got so much as a response...

I dunno, maybe I'm cynical, but a newbie in Cz who doesn't even respond... I just don't have the faith.
Sorry

not the way things work though mate in the buy/sell world, the buyer always pays before getting, and thats true for pretty much everything. you dont go the supermarket and eat the food, then pay. you dont go online to a music site, and get them to send you a bass, n then pay when it arrives, just not the way it goes. i know what you mean on the trust thing though, and i think everyone knows about my ideas to keep basschat classifieds safe :)

No? But you go to a restruant and eat the food *then* pay... take a taxi ride, then do a runner... erm, I mean "then pay". :)

I see that he's offering a trade, in which case a mutual trust would mean him sending his before the other was received would it not? My cash would arrive almost the very instant I took ownership, wheras the traded wireless might never arrive.
That would be a similar situation to my proposal, with the exception I would be trading the cash. No?

You can't use the example of payment made to shops for goods, as they have easily checkable history and a reputation to maintain. Goods bought on forums have no comeback so my trust levels are VERY low for noobs.

I mean, I don't disagree with what you're saying, but I would rather loose the purchace than run the risk of throwing £130 down the pan. That was just my way of trying to safeguard myself, ...plus I have the feedback on here to support my suggestion. I realise it was an unusual request I made, but I don't think it was outlandish under the circumstances.

Good luck with the sale Nemo I'm sure my worries are misplaced mate.

As for not receiving items this is why we buy with paypal
that's true...

Well it sounds like it's gone anyway, so all's well!

As I got now the PM asking if it was sold, I just remembered I left this thread unattended for long time.

So I apologize for all uncertainities caused and confirm this item was traded on TB.

I will close this thread if I succeed to..
