1. Impressive, this is my birth year, close to make something irresponsible.
2. Congrats to your new Atelier! As a former owner of the M265 I thought I will chime in. These basses are great, but tend to be very heavy, mine had nearly 12 lbs (ash body, maple neck and fingerboard). You are lucky that yours is on the light side. Also the aestetics screams 70's bass, but the bridge pickup is in 60's position. The string spacing is 18 mm on a their fiver. Just my 2 cents for any potential buyers to look for. Anyway, this is top notch quality instrument and I sometimes miss mine that is gone now. Neck is very playable, sort of flat front to back and sound is amazing. Low B is killer. Enjoy this beautifull bass!
3. And the pickup on these is so loud and clean, I've never seen something like this on others and I had a couple of P basses.. Don't even think about changing it.. These basses are really good. (no affiliation with a seller, FWIW) Here is mine http://s535.photobuc...8?sort=3&page=1
4. Guys, this is a gem. I have the same one, only in natural finish. The neck is soo comfortable, it practically plays itself. If you want 70' P sound and struggle with playability on other Ps, this is a bass for you.
5. Hi, let me please ask a question to fellow French bass players or anyone who is familiar with Paris. Our band is having a trip to Paris to see Tom Petty concert next week in Grand Rex. While being in Paris, we want to use this opportunity to buy some gig dresses - shirts, pants, shoes. We play classic RnR covers - Chuck Berry, Bo Didley, Elvis Presley, Muddy Waters, some Rolling Stones etc. Do you know of any good shop in central Paris specialised on RnR fashion, Elvis style, rockabilly style or so on? Thanks a lot!
6. These basses have incredibly well playable neck! And great ergonomy overall. I had 1994 TRB5 MK I. Free bump for you! (and, the absence of the original preamp is imho a plus - the original preamp is quite hissing)

8. Hi, I just tried it again with the 0.5 Amp generic 9V supply and it works normally, just same as with the original Korg supply. Maybe it would not be enough if you have a whole chain of pedals powered by the same supply. However, all this talk about powering is redundant for you guys! That bit about the generic adaptors I have written because I supposed you can't use the provided original Korg adaptor in UK because it has the EU socket plug. What I didn't realize is that you can use the EU/UK plug adaptor piece costing like £2 and be happy with the original Korg PSU which is included for you with the synth! So don't worry, bid happily. Thank you phil.i.stein for the samples and additional info - much apprecciated! I have got some partial trade offers in PMs, but none of them was interesting enough for me. Added the Maxon PT999 to the partial trade options. Anyway, I would prefer the straight sale. So, don't you hesitate and get this rare bird, they don't make them anymore!
9. For sale is my Korg G5 bass synth. No need to introduce, together with AKAI Deep Impact these are the two best bass synths ever made. Comes with original power supply, but it works with any generic 9V supply (which works with e.g. Boss, EBS type pedals). Nine user programable presets, can blend direct and synth signal. User manual included here as pdf. [b]Price shipped within EU - £190 / 230 EUR. Tracked and insured shipping. Paypal is ok. 10. It looks like nobody carries this new GL gigbag in stock in EU so I ordered it from US. That one is IMO worth it
11.
Have you tried emailing one of the European distributors
Thanks, I will try it on Monday. Now trying if any of the basschatters seen them around..
12. Hi, I am desperately looking for the G&L bass gigbag - the new one with grey strip and red-white logo on the front pocket. I can only find them in US, no signs of it in Europe. I don't want to pay the overseas shipping. I am on the search of a great gigbag and found this one, which is absolutely perfect for me from various reasons (lightweight, stiff foam, enough storage, back straps). I prefer it to Mono, iGig, Protego, inCase and other well acknowledged stuff. Please, if you can direct me to the source of this gig bag in Europe, I would be very grateful! Thanks a lot!

These are essentially same as Mesa, I have found the same parts as you suggested in the local e-shop for about one third of Mesa price..
15. Upon further searching I found this: http://www.reliablehardware.com/3-12inchpr...thaneblack.aspx http://www.reliablehardware.com/largeremov...asterplate.aspx They ship to Europe, no problem. Probably cheaper than Mesa's too. I will give the Bassdirect try, but probably will end up with the stuff above. Nice pictorial FWIW: http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f15/picstory...ir-cabs-371812/
16.
http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/categori.../castors-wheels
Well, there are many shops with casters around, but I need the removable ones. The Mesa type seems to be the most rugged. On my Bergantino HS410 cab I have the stem type and one bushing has broken. Thus I want to replace them all with more heavy duty removable casters.
17. One and half days and no response from Westside yet.. any other ideas please?
18. E-mail sent, let's see. Thank you
19. Hi, I need a set of Mesa Trak-Loc 3" casters. Like these: http://www.rainbowguitars.com/bass/mesa-bo...er-set/YWH3R/MB Do you know a shop in Europe to get them? The Mesa distributor in our country don't has it in his pricelist..
