It is a killer bass, but nowadays I play almost exclusively my four-string Moon JJ4, so this one deserves to be played by someone else. It has very organic J tone, the playability is amazing as well as the overall ergonomics. Action can be set very low. The weight is exactly 9 pounds. The preamp is very musical and versatile, can get usable tones within the entire travel of the knobs (handmade from ebony - btw) You can feel it is a truly boutique handmade instrument. Resembles more some violoncello or some classic music instrument than a slab of bass guitar..
