Hefty is the word here as up for grabs is my Crest CA9 power amp. It does weigh a few pounds, including Gator Pro moulded case 55 of them to be precise - that's 25kg for you whippersnappers! Most of the weight is down to the epic power transformer which allows this beasty to effortlessly deliver massive gobs of power. I use one of these with an Aguilar DB680 and the tone is to die for. P-ZARN Posted March 12, 2015 Share Posted March 12, 2015 Absolutely awesome power amp !!!!!!!! I've been using a Crest CA9 since last year combined with a Glockenklang Bass Art Classic preamp. For years I've been searching for the perfect amp sound. Undoubtedly this is the the best sound I've ever achieved. Don't be put off by the weight.
