Skybone Posted February 4, 2015 Share Posted February 4, 2015 AFAIK: I was always under the impression that the 4003 superseded the 4001 from the early 80's to the present. Though some of the earlier 4003's were more "modern" in spec & decoration than the 4001, they've slowly been reverting to the overall look of the 4001 since the late 80's.
