backwater Posted July 5, 2008 Share Posted July 5, 2008 (edited) Hi Folks, I bought this Squier from Andy67 here on Basschat a few months ago but I'm now well into restoring a 1978 Precision ([url="http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=21695"]More Here[/url]) and I don't see me using the Telecaster bass much once the precision is finished. The specification for the bass can be found here : [url="http://www.squierguitars.com/products/search.php?partno=0326902500"]Squier Guitars[/url] The serial dates the bass to 2007. The machine heads have been replaced with Schallers and I've added a genuine Fender bridge cover (I had to import one from the USA as I couldn't get one in the UK at the time). There is a small amount of damage to the scratchplate where Andy had a different pickup fitted and there are some small scratches to the finish from playing but other than that the bass is in very good condition and plays well. I also have the pictured Coffin Case which has a few marks on the outside but is as new inside - the keys and tags are with the case. The cases new are £80 each (details of the case are here : [url="http://www.musical-instrumentsuk.co.uk/more/on/details/00534"]Biggars Music[/url] I'm looking for what I paid for the bass (and bridge cover) £135 plus postage. I'll also include a basic Fender gigbag and a fender strap as well. I'd prefer to sell the bass with the coffin case if possible but I'll also sell it with the gig bag! I'd estimate UK postage as about £22 insured or it can be collected in Edinburgh. Please drop me a PM with any questions.
