This applies to the new Rat King that Joes pedals are selling. Want to make sure i get the right one! Playing hardcore/metal style music. Cheers. Musky Posted January 23, 2014 Share Posted January 23, 2014 Most pedals are latching - they stay on until you hit the switch again. With momentary switches the effect will only be engaged while you keep your foot on it. [/quote] I've just been playing mine on a crappy Peavey combo but it sounds incredible, I'll be at practise with my proper rig tomorrow, so I'll let you know exactly how it sounds, so far, the second distortion setting is exactly what I need! My Rat Tail is just the feedback switch away from a Rat King (in that I have the second gain mod), and it is killer!
