Have you read the 'pinned' posts t the head of the 'Items Wanted' section..? Here you are... [/quote] Got in just ahead of me! Sad in some ways, as it would be nice to bump wanted threads. Mine has disappeared so I guess i'll have to post a new one. I'll admit to not being expert in the ways of fora in general; even less in 'trade' fora, but here's my 'take'... Why is it important that your 'Wanted' ad be at the top..? If I was looking to sell something, and wanted to see if there was any demand in 'Wanted', I'd do a search. There are nearly 400 pages of posts; I certainly wouldn't go through all of them, one by one. I'd not expect (except for the strangest of coincidences...) any request for my item to be on the first page. I can see for selling why a 'bump' would be useful, to stimulate an impulse purchase; I'm not so sure that this same 'logic' applies to 'Items Wanted'. To answer the question, then... Yes, a new ad each time one wishes to appear at the top. The way this section works will come under scrutiny at some future date, but that's it for now. Ideal..? Perhaps not. Will a plethora of redundant ads help acquisition of the wanted item..? Dunno, but I remain somewhat sceptical. They're free ads, so try your luck, maybe... Hope this helps...
