Hi All,

I have recently acquired a nice Ashdown 220 Touring and have bought some ECC83's off this very site to replace the pre-amp valves in it as I think they could possibly need replacing.

Never done this before and would be grateful of any help and advice, I think it should go like this:

1) unplug the speaker lead and mains lead from back panel.
2) Remove four plastic covers on top of cab.
3) Undo the four bolts holding the amp in the cab.
4) Slide out amp chassis.
5) Hopefully see the two tubes.
6) Gently, using a circular motion remove valves.
7) Gently, using a circular motion replace valves.
8) repeat all steps above.

Does this seem right?

Cheers

Stuart
