Hi Guys,

Very recently picked this bass up on here from our very own Haruki, its a fantastic example of a good solid awesome sounding Warwick bass, but having just pulled the trigger on a Dingwall today which was for sale on this forum this has to make room :( infact if you were to ask Haruki i actually told him when buying this bass i was waiting out for a Dingwall but one hadn't come up for sale... and what do you know the next week one pops up for sale.

So, the price is what i paid for it from Haruki which was a very good deal at £500, postage on the bass is at about £30 - £35 insured, since getting the bass i have had it setup, action lowered and put a brand new set of D'addrio 6's on the bass, the electronics have also had a once over by my dad (qualified sparky :) ) and all the pots are fine no crackle or hiss and the jack is in perfect working order, i've taken a photo of the electronics below, the bass comes with a great condition Hiscox hardcase which is fully functioning and the carpet inside is in spotless condition, the bass itself is in fantastic cosmetic condition as the photos below will show, the bass features very very minor dings on the underside by the jack but apart from that nothing to report, after the setup the neck is straight and true and there isn't a dead spot or bad fret on the neck its a joy to play and the MEC soapbars really help the bass sing on the high notes and growl on the lows.

The bass weighs approx, 5kg. Bass is located in Newcastle Upon Tyne, cash on collection is fine, I can also travel within reasonable distance with the cover of petrol.

The only trades i'd really be interested in for this bass would be Aguilar DB112 / GS112 / SL112 cabs, or Markbass 102p / 121p / 151p cabs, with cash moving either way.

Any questions please ask.

Thanks.

What year is it and what is the neck made from? And what is the body? Thanks!

mmm, I think the body on this is bubinga, neck ovangkol and the fretboard wenge IIRC, a nice combo of woods tbh, just too many strings for my simple mind :P

Yep jimbobothy called it right, bubinga, ovangkol and wenge an African dense hard wood delight, the bass was manufactured in Germany in July 2001.

Thanks.
