Recommend a refinisher

I have a lovely US Standard Jazz bass that sounds and feels great, but I just can't get on with the colour (Blizzard Pearl). I have tried to sell it but have had no real interest at anything other than a give away price. So...if I change the colour, I think i can use it as intended. I know that solid coloured basses may have less interesting wood making them unsuitable for my preferred sunburst finish, but a vintage white and tort plate would suit me fine.

Can anyone recommend a professional guitar refinisher able to remove the ghastly metallic paint and repaint it in good vintage white to a decent standard?

If anyone has a Jazz bass scratch plate in tortoise shell they want to sell, that would be good to hear about as well!

Cheers.

Your local car sprayer may be able to help you out and there is also a guy listed in the affiliates section here who sprays guitars and basses he is based in Liverpool and I think he charges about 100 quid for a spray job I looked for the thread but cannot find it though :( That bowfinishing looks fantastic but I bet there not cheap but would be interesting to know if you find out cos there work really looks like it is done to a high standard :)
