QSC PLX 1602 Power Amp @ 2ohm?

Can't find a manual unfortunately. Suggests 2ohms in stereo here; http://www.qscaudio.com/products/amps/plx/plx.htm so I assume it'll be ok.

Band have got two Peavy Hysis 1xt's and two 115xt's - all 4ohm cabs. So unless anyone can tell me otherwise, it seems I can run the tops off one channel and the subs off the other?

Hi, manual is still available from QSC website, try this http://qscservice.co...6136/plxmnl.pdf cheers

And on page 11 it confirms that the minimum bridge load is 4Ω (twice the minimum single channel load of 2Ω).

However you can run it in parallel input mode (see page 10) where the signal on channel 1 is also routed to channel 2 and then connect each pair of 4Ω speakers to each channel outputs in non-bridged mode to give an acceptable 2Ω load on each channel.
