I can record into my DAW fine, but recently I've been looking at the high-end REDDI and wondering how much better it would be. Also there is a Radial J48 DI on the sales forum which I was looking at as it has good reviews, but is this mid-range DI going to give any noticeable improvement over my LM3 direct out? Lozz196 Posted June 25, 2013 Share Posted June 25, 2013 I think with most things like this, the DI on the amp is fine for live work etc, but when you get to studio work, a dedicated piece of gear for the job is likely to yield better results. That said, I was very happy with the sound from my Markbass combo that was DI`d in our last studio session - pleasantly surprised in fact, as was the engineer.
