Are you sure it's long scale?
Jesus! If you look at the image, it depicts an instrument with 3 pickups. Yet the spiel lists it as having 2. If they can't figure out how many pickups the bass has, what chance do they have of getting the scale length right?

It's not like either of these are remotely important, anyway ;)

Oh yeah :D Also you can see the pick-up wires which isn't a good look

Tried a Jack Casady today which I quite liked but it needed setting up..alot of metallic clacking. Tried a Kay Bass as well.... sounded good but no where for the thumb except a very very thin pick-up near the neck. Tried the black one but Cranes Cardiff had the range. Not for me...... got GAS for the flamed maple Warwick now :gas:

It looks similar to a Gretsch Thunderjet I had. It looked utterly beautiful. If I could, I'd have had it framed and put on the wall.

However, (and I wasn't the only one of it's owners to say the same thing), it sounded dull and lifeless, very disappointing. No matter what I did, different strings, etc etc, I couldn't get a decent tone out of it at all. I'd thought about putting TV Jones' in it, but couldn't be bothered in the end, so I flogged it with much regret.

Probably not relevant to the Deusenberg, but thought I'd share it with you anyway.
