A small portable bass/guitar combo?

Hi I play both lead and bass and Its a big ask but I am hoping to find a small combo that I can use for both. It has to be light and portable but I'm still hoping for something that will give 20-50w. I tried an little ampeg with 8' speaker. It didn't really float my boat with bass but sounded OK with a telecaster through it.

Suggestions? Roland cube 20? Ashdown? small rumble?

Whats the best bet?

I've got a Markbass AC101 - sounds good with guitar and bass.

Thanks, a good suggestion-from what I have heard the Markbass stuff give a great "true" sound but It's out of my budget. Also the ac101 id designed for acoustic instruments isn't it? I'm all electric.

I've got a Markbass 801. Best bass practice amp I've ever known. Let me know if you want me to try my Tele Custom through it.

Please do, I'd be interested to hear the results.

No probs. Will do. I'm a crap guitarist, so let me know what's 'good' and what's 'bad' to you. Will be early next week before I'm back in Glasgow where the guitar and amp are.

I guess as long as it holds enough of the treble in comparison to a lead amp, thats as much as I can expect.
