Clint Posted June 23, 2013 Share Posted June 23, 2013 I have tried the ES 335 bass and they are beautiful but I own a Gibson pelham blue Midtown Bass and overall I prefer the midtowns sounds personally. I also own a Gibson Les Paul standard bass (weighs a ton) and the ES 335 is basically a larger hollowbody version with same pickups etc. Saying that I still want one in my Gibson collection but they are selling for £1699 at the moment and I can't justify that when i have the midtown to meet all my hollowbody bass needs!
