Im selling my Fender Custom Shop LTD 70's natural Jazz Bass. I got this bass new from Sound Control Sheffield and have looked after it with kid gloves so it is MINT AS NEW condition see Fender link for info on bass: http://www.fendercus.../9270000288.php
The 1970 Jazz Bass LTD (Natural) guitar is a team-built limited run of 100 instruments. This bass looks as beautiful as it sounds. The two-piece premium ash body has a three-ply white pick guard; the one-piece quarter sawn maple neck ('70s U shape) has a gloss urethane finish and white binding, with a 7.25"-radius maple fingerboard, white Pearloid block position inlays and 20 medium jumbo frets. The sound comes from twin vintage-style Jazz Bass single-coil pickups (bridge pickup is 1/4" closer to bridge than normal). Other features include nickel/chrome hardware, vintage-style reverse tuning machines and an American Vintage Jazz Bass bridge. Also included are a Fender Custom Shop limited edition decal and certificate, plus a deluxe beige case with Fender Custom Shop Limited Release logo on inside, all case candy supplied with bass. These bass features our "Closet Classic" treatment-built as if it was bought new in its respective model year, played maybe a few times per year and then carefully put away. It has a few small dings, a mildly checked finish, lightly oxidized hardware and aged plastic parts. The bass weighs 8.8lb (4kg) has a low action.
I'm after £1500 cash trade £1800 for this bass which is a lot less that I paid for it in 2006.
