sarah thomas Posted September 9, 2012 Share Posted September 9, 2012 It looks very like, if not identical to the one I've got, which is a fine bag The extra pockets and handles are a boon when it comes to manhandling the beast around. The only problem I've had in almost a year of (2nd hand) ownership is that a couple of zip pulls have broken off. The zips still work very well though. The stitching isn't very good on the straps... about 6 months worth of use and they have all dropped off... I use a wheel and the bag for protection. I'd suggest get the Rayon case and a good wheel. As I use the car 100% I just need minimal protection from scratching/abrasions and am not too concerned about lots of padding. Like Sarah, I've suffered a few zip pull failures which is a bit of a PITA. Not too sure who made my bags, apart from the Upton one which is thickly padded and very heavy, but they're all OK. Its OK. The only thing I get worried about is when I bash the head on doorways. The bass I have is so light I carry it everywhere and have never thought of using a trolley or wheel. [/quote] Hi Adrian, yes I think that's the problem with those wheels that stick in where the endpin goes, but the bass buggie is designed to help absorb shock, so it's a much smoother ride for the bass. If you find carrying your bass fairly easy then it's probably not worth the money (it's £120), but I struggle and was getting back ache lugging mine around!
