ziggydolphinboy Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 (edited) Hi All, I havent had this bass long and accquired her in a trade , so i took a leap of faith and am wel impressed Its a chesnut top , through neck , le fay pick ups and a noll 3 band(active and passive). Its the cleanest/clearest bass i have owned very neutral sounding. high end has loads of clarity and the difference in pick ups is a nice difference. it sounds great acoustucally too and i practice without it being plugged in. id like to keep it but struggling as another is on the way. its got a decent hard case too and been strung with new strings a few weeks ago and played it twice since. its been on here before so if you research it it will come up. a few little things , the knobs could do with a spray/change, and there is a slight bit of laquer off where youre pop fingers would be. not sure how much they are new but this one seems a bit special and it owes me around was £1400.00 so looking in that region. enjoy and hope to hear from you.
