I've looked at quite a few YouTube vids of him, and he is just incredible. Not only is he very technically capable, but every lick seems to really come from the heart and be perfect for that moment. I read that he used to be Chaka Khan's MD for her live shows. I also read on talkbass that apparently her "one classic night" live album is the one to get, but I'd love to hear a really good studio album (and maybe somone other than Chaka) with him playing on it. Saw him as her md at Shepherds Bush a couple of years ago.
