Rick's Fine '52 Posted May 19, 2012 Share Posted May 19, 2012 Is this really such a good price for an '80? I'm looking for another purchase, and would definitely consider a nice pre-EB Ray. But I don't see this as such a great buy at that price, especially in black. He's had it a while and i didnt give it a second look, until i saw this thread. I guess I'm wrong, having seen achieved prices of these over the last 2 years, I don't think so. Having said that, I know Andy, top guy, and it's his business, so there's profits and costs to cover, and factor in. Don't get me wrong, its a lovely looking bass, nice example.
