ZVEX Mastotron with bass (G&L L-1000)

Just bought this fantastic fuzz pedal.
I found a setting I liked and recorded a couple of mean riffs in my DAW.
Bass and midi drums only.

I let the pedal speak for itself in my mini video review...

That is gorgeous! Great video too.

Cheers. :)
It seems to give me all the dirty fuzzy crunchy goodness I like without getting synthy.... and tons of bottom - I did the recording on the mid setting... can't wait to try out the full sub setting at practice.

Sounds great, I tried one out in a guitar shop a few years ago and loved it. Would be worried about stomping on it live though, with the proximity of knobs to switch.

Yeah I see what you mean but the knobs are quite positive feeling and I don't think they would nudge all that easily in an accident (I'll bet anything the settings wouldn't even budge going in and out of my gear bag) The footswitch needs quite a firm press to engage though so I'd say precise operation is necessary. Luckily, the Mastotron logo has a handy sort of "place your toe here" design to it. :D
Time will tell.

Cheers Shep. I noticed that apart from that Spanish guy there was a big lack of Mastotron/bass vids on yt so I did this 'un. I know mine only has one setting (and it probably runs for twice as long as is necessary :D) but it's a fairly decent example of what it can do.
