Restored 66 P

Recommended Posts

Don`t know if this has been posted already. 66 P bass body restored. The seller admits there are no date stamps on the body so we have no way of telling if it`s a genuine 66 body. The seller states that the body alone is worth 600 quid.

Until you look at his recent buying feedback where you find a 66 body bought for £65 plus shipping and taxes so around £120? Fair enough he has done quite a lot of work to it. If I were anal enough I would work out how much it cost to put together as it`s all in his buying feedback.

I`m not trying to say the guy is dishonet or anything, it just seems like a lot of cash for something that is made from parts.

When you see the bloody great hole blown in it (have a look at the back :D) and think of how to fill such a thing, you kind of wonder how much of the "original" was finally used in the restoration. :D
