Wow! 'Mongolian Death Worm' is a great metal band name, too.

I came up with "The Slotin Excursion" doesn't sound that metal but it refers to a fatal radiation accident that happened during the development of the atom bomb. It involved a plutonium sphere known as "The Demon Core" (at least one band called that)

After playing it for a while I noticed several things:
1 the Wizard pickups don't have the va va voom I was after.
2 the neck is about as stable as a game of Jenga in zero gravity
3 The bloody woodworm is back.
So , after stripping out the pickups (now on sale) the bass is quite literally on the wood pile.
On the plus side I've come to the realization that the second prototype is a great bass, I'll stick with it for now.
