BassmanJN Posted February 13, 2012 Share Posted February 13, 2012 I would like to get started on recording a bit of guitar and bass (and vocals) using Reaper and my Macbook Pro. Can anyone recommend a not-too-expensive USB interface that I can plug bass/guitars/a mic into? I'm thinking around the 200 quid mark, but open to suggestions above and below that. I've seen people using TASCAM units before. I'm not looking for super professional quality, as we have a good recording set up in our rehearsal studio, this is just something for solo projects. As a bonus it comes with a version of Studio One, A total gapless Daw - it might turn your head a bit and turn you on to the full version.... It really is the easiest DAW of them all to use. We have an 8 input Saffire for "bigger" recordings. i'm not overly concerned with vocals, since I'll be mainly doing instrumentals/sketches to share with the band.
