1. thanks guys, that's really helped me out, i did think i was doing it correct ( i always do option 1). But truckstop you make a great point, so as a failsafe i will no start doing option 2. Cheers Guys, thats awesome!! Regards Danny
2. Hi Guys, Thanks for your replies. I've to a quick sketch up in photo shop. Just to make it a bit clear. I've noticed that it says 8ohm on the back of the lh500, is that minimum or ideal? I didnt mean to link the two cabs together in 4 ohm, maybe from the 2 outputs of the amp (so the cabs have own output each rather than being together)
3. As per title I have a hartke lh 500 that goes with 2x hydrive 112. At present I'm taking a jack from the output into cab 1 then from cab 1 into cab 2. Both cabs have been switched to 8ohm. Would I be better switching the cabs into 4 ohm and using output 1 to cab 1 and output to cab 2. What would be the benefits to either or. I'm finding that its not super loud but thinking something might be a miss. P.s I always have limiter engaged and have my eq fairly flat. Regards Danny
4. No worries. I know Halesowen quite well. I have some students there. Bear me in mind if it falls through. Good luck in the future. Cheers Danny
5. I wouldn't mind throwing my hat into the ring I'm in a couple of bands and based in stourbridge, although all my bands rehearse in brum (Rock Tribute & Function). Been playing bass for quite a few years and have gigging experience. I have excellent amps (2 set ups dependant on size of venue) and 3 basses (for different tunings if required) my number is (07986) 947711. www.danny-tristram.co.uk Hope to hear from you soon Danny Tristram
6. Here's one of my bass rigs :-) Its a Hartke LH500 Head with two Hartke Hydrive 112 cabs. Its a great rig its very powerful, and sounds awsome. Its also pretty light considering the punch it has. Very versatile two. Hope you Like :-)
7. Cheers buddy gona bang it on eBay soon but wanted to give fellow bass chaters a chance 1st
8. Trying to upload bass covers to YouTube but apparently there infringement on the copyright. I've noted all the info on the songs and said that the copyright rdmsins property of it owners etc. I also sped it up by 1bpm in logic to try and confuse the fingerprint software. Any ideas???? I believe that for things like bass/drum covers it is legal?? Doesnt it come under fair use??? I dunno!!! Lol
9. I bought a rip off sm58 from studio spares it sells for about £40 quid. I was lucky however they've got a few ex display 1s at present. Ended up with stand xlr and mic (inc cases) for 35 quid!! Took it to a gig not expecting much but it was great. I was getting less feed back than my singers sm58 beta (slightly better I think than a sm58). Although it was quite trebly but a bit of eq n reverb did just the job
10. Surprised this hasn't been snapped up !! Great amp and I think reasonable price am I wrong?? Is it over priced??
11. Hiya the bass at my parents I live in London so that won't really be possible
12. Have a bump on me got this cab with a kilo head, its a fab sounding cab!!! Someone snap it up!!
13. Very Good condition little use just over two years old I’ve had it as a ‘back up’ rig but only used it once when my other rig was having its service! Sounds great and looks nice. Only thing to mention is there is a plastic port missing on the rear off the cab! Don’t know how/where!! Only noticed when I was taking the pictures for the add, un-noticeable to and audience and absolutely un-noticeable sound wise. Good strong reliable amp. Amp to be collected from Stourbridge, West Midlands The Blurb! Ashdown C115 Mag Evo II combi At the heart of the MAG C115-300 EVO III combo lies a feature-packed bass preamp with rotary bass, middle and treble controls, along with supplementary rotary controls providing 15dB of cut and boost at 220Hz and 1.6kHz. Additionally, front panel push switches for Bright and Deep settings provide instant access to attacking and warm, rounded sounds respectively and, on the subject of low-end response, the trademark Ashdown sub-harmonic generator is ready and able to deliver truck loads of earth moving tone if called upon.

With the MAGs now achieving EVO III status, the amplifier also includes a built-in compressor with precision sonic control. Along with the all new tube emulated drive control for that extra bit of grind with your tone.

Fueled by a potent 300W power section, MAG C115-300 EVO III combo features inputs for active and passive instruments, along with an effects send and return, a tuner/line output and a balanced DI output for direct connection to a mixing console.

The combo delivers its payload via a single 15" driver
