Warwick Service Specialists in the UK - Near London/Surrey if Possible

I am the proud owner on a Warwick Streamer Jazzman and at some point I would like to get it set up and some work done to it. The Just-A-Nut edge clips that hold the nut in place have snapped off and so I have a new Just-A-Nut III which needs fitting. It looks as though the existing Just-A-Nut mouting is different to the new Just-A-Nut III mounting. Rather than take it to any old local guitar shop to fit, I would sooner take it to a recommended or approve Warwick specialist if one exists.

Does ayone know of any good Warwick Service Specilaists in or around London/Surrey/Hampshire/Berkshire etc?

Take it to the Gallery. They are Warwick Service people and they will do a cracking job.

There is no mount on the JAN, just carefully remove the old JAN with a Stanley knife blade as a lever, and sand off any glue residue, then a couple of small drops of superglue on the new one and it should fit perfectly. I have done this a couple of times. There's a guide on the warwick site somewhere on how to fit a new JAN.

This.

I replaced a broken JANII with a JANIII, very easy, 5 minute job if you're taking your time.

Thanks Nigel, you are a top fella. Will give that a go this week.

Thanks to everyone else for the help.

I've been to the Bass Centre for it (nut issue on a Warwick) before, people badmouth them but I found them knowledgeable, helpful and fairly priced.

Glad you've got it sorted though!

This was possibly before you joined BC though was it? Did they charge you to sort your Warwick nut?

Well had a go last night at replacing the damaged nut and it was a doddle. Took me 5 minutes. Job done. Thanks for the help everyone.

This is why I like Warwicks so much, something as ostensibly simple as a top nut on most basses can be the source of a lot of pain and loss of cash. Warwick have all the issues with a nut sorted. They really think about solutions to problems.

Yep, love the quality, build and mechanics of Warwicks. If I can sell my MIA Jazz, I would get a Streamer SS1 or Streamer LX Jazzman and use it as my main bass. Nothing seems to be selling at the moment so in a bit of a pickle :)

Yep, and yes they did. It needed a new one as the old one had snapped during a string change (ugh).
