fumps Posted August 15, 2011 Share Posted August 15, 2011 Hi guys I've been writing some Bass peices & know that it's about time i got them down before i start to forget them. i need a simple Bass to PC interface as the last time i did home recording it was on my old trusty 8- track Fostex beast that is no longer living lol. I dont need anything that flashy as i have a good friend that owns a recording studio but do need something just to make raw recordings onto a laptop......Can anyone help with advice ? If you have a pedal or something you can use as a pre-amp then the very cheapest stuff which just accepts line inputs will work for you. janmaat Posted August 15, 2011 Share Posted August 15, 2011 Well behringer - your know where the hook is. I had a look at their guarantee specs recently. Only 1 year - you must have kept the original packaging - you must not have opened it up yourself - and worst of all, all parts that "naturally wear off" such as faders, pots etc. are explicitly exempt, which means the guarantee does not cover anything that can actually break - so no guarantee at all. but i guarantee you the thing will break. money spent on behringer kit is thrown out of the window. Zero latency with amp modeling, can be run standalone and dead easy to use plus they come up cheap on ebay from time to time.
