After trawling the internet I am now very interested in Carvin guitars, their basses look very nice, and Ed Friedland's review of the sb500 was very possitive.
Also their bass amps look very nice too, and ive heard they have very reasonable prices. But theres the problem, I cant find any prices anywhere.
Anyone know how much their basses and guitars are priced at?
Cheers
Mike

Unless you buy second-hand I believe that they are made to order. They are not ridiculously expensive however. It all depends on the spec you choose from the options that you will find on their website. I would certainly consider one.

Some very attractive instruments. IMO they always have old basic models which struggle to sell on ebay over here. They're not the kind of thing people typically search for, and as a result have very few or no bidders! They're new brand of instruments which are essentially made to order look fantastic (I just had a play with their guitar builder on their site), they only had one neck option for a 5 string bass, however, and I'd be wary of buying anything made to order from overseas when you have no idea what the neck profile feels like!

The prices on the website are the direct price as they don't wholesale to retailers and new ones only come from Carvin. Used they can be quite a bargain. I've never preferred their amps but there's nothing wrong with them, their guitars and basses tend to be high quality though it's been about 5 years since I played a new one.
