Behringer BX108 - for £3.20

just picked this up this evening.

it had a broken socket (repaired) and it's missing the backboard (to be fixed this weekend)...

and it's actually pretty good.

no great huge bass, but fine for noodling and acoustic jam sessions - which is why i blew the savings on it :)

it may even fit in my backpack :)

There's one of these for sale out my way. I'd like it as a practice amp, but am a bit concerned about it apparently only having a gain control, no volume. Starting price is a massive £9.99 though.

Fitting in a backpack would be of interest to me as it's collection only and I don't have a car. If if fits in a backpack, I could pick it up on my bicycle :)

Must admit that I'd prefer saving for a bass microcube though.

Yes, I suppose that the on-off switch is an all or nothing volume. But, I do like the idea of an amp being able to produce a driven sound at different volumes :)
