Sawtooth Posted April 28, 2011 Share Posted April 28, 2011 Inspired by the recent thread about Victor Wooten 'losing' his bass before a gig and borrowing a fans instead, [url="http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=133637"]Here[/url], I got to thinking ... - If you were in the situation where an artist you admire, borrowed and played [i]your[/i] bass, at a gig where you had prime, front row seats ... Who would it be? What tune would they play? Which bass would you lend them? Anything goes, it could be Jaco playing the 'Benny Hill Theme' on a Sue Ryder if you wish. I'm not that fussed really, as long as I got it back then I'd be happy. Back to the OP, I'd like LEs Claypool to have a stab at 'Tommy the Cat' on my bass, as I'm not sure my bass knows this tune, and if anyone could coax it out, then Les can.
