obbm Posted January 7, 2008 Share Posted January 7, 2008 After 3 years or so Second Time Around have decided to call it a day and part as friends. Our final gig is this Friday, 11th January at The Crown, Knaphill, nr Woking in Surrey. In some respects it's a shame as we were a very tight band and played well together but the motivation and spark has gone so we have decided to do the right thing before things degenerate. It looks like we are going to put the original Micky Kemp Band back together again for a few gigs. Everyone is up for it and the first is on 29th February. We've played together once since the band split in 2002 and there will be no rehearsal, we're just going to go for it. Seat-of-the-pants playing for 2+ hours. Great.
