pqs Posted September 26, 2010 Share Posted September 26, 2010 Hi My name is Peter and I'm 54, and I have just decided to start learning bass as soon as I can offload a Gibson Melody Maker and a Vox Valvetronix. Any ideas what I should buy? I used to have an Aria CSB 380 years ago. I have small hands and suffer from an illness which is similar to Carpal Tunnel Syndrom. He of the Burrito speaks wisely, what kind of sound are you looking for, how much do you want to spend, etc. Something with a J width neck should work out, do you need/want short scale?
