Gigs - What do you "get" from them?

I can relate to this. Never taken drugs. Doubt I ever will.
No matter what else happened before, a good gig erases all the preceding aggro. Then it stops.
And you're faced with that empty feeling whilst driving home.

If you did it frequently/professionally I can see how the cycle of stress/release/buzz/emptiness would cause a need to smooth the transition and ease the boredom (especially when touring)

Nobody would know they are a blues jam..and that is the point. This is no chancers gig. IMO.

Got agree about metal bands... they can be as rehearsed up as you like...but still sound dead from the neck down.
It has to be all about the playing, ....or not. :) :lol:
