    Morning all, I have a brand new, unopened and boxed pair of ultimate ears 400vi for sale. I've decided to sell them as I've bought a few pedals recently and could do with recouping some money.     I've just taken the plunge and purchased a pair of AKG K701's from Thomann. My question is will my focusrite saffire (http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/sep05/articles/saffire.htm) be enough to power these headphones, or should I get a seperate headphone amp? Was looking at something like a FiiO E9. Cheers Keith

    This is a great device that enables you to emulate classic eq and compression and add it to your mix. All of the processor power is contained within the device so it doesn't use it from your pc/mac.     I love mine too. I think the reason they have so many in the sale section is them moving on some older stock for newer Berg cabs. I can only see 2 cabs in the second hand section also? or do they have more in the store?
