I have both, as well as a mel9 They work well for me down to around a low a. I split the signal output on mine though - Dry goes to the next pedal, and the wet outputs of each pedal go to an ab switch for the b and c and then to a DI via a killswitch straight to PA, so I can get the best sound from the pedal and not limited by the eq of my rig
