My fecker pretender is really an old Westfield p bass.
All I have done is change the logo, replaced the white pg for black and pop an sd spb3 in it.
All in all a total of £110
I've recorded with it ( the engineer said he'd never heard so much bass frequency from a bass before!), and I regularly gig it hearing people who are convinced it's a 70s fender -
All arrived safe and sound dude- cheers!
Have a bump on me! -
Another 7200 user here.
Awesome amps. -
I wouldn't recommend the phat phuk b unless you have an all valve amp.
It's a dirty boost rather than a specific 'overdrive' pedal per se -
Very nice
I have one of his m16 basses, it's really nice to play and sounds good.
At one point he was selling evh copies, before fender stepped in -
Big muff / variant

Can I grab the 6 way supply pls? Could you pm me some details?
-
Cheers dude

Try sending dudewheresmybass89 a pm. He has a sledgehammer for sale ATM
Phil is quite a friendly chap really -
Hey Wayne,
Any chance of pic of the back pls? -
As its parametric, I couldn't define frequency without an oscilloscope!
It's definitely just up from the very low mids -
I'm really enjoying the bmc. It works wonders with my p basses both active and Passive.
As yet, I've not tried it with an active with a mid control, but I do find it can really add emphasis to the envelope filter. -
I tried it with bass, but as shep says it doesn't do the low end any favours.
There are far better drives out there for bass -
This is the board for m function band.
The only thing which may change is that I might add an octave. Not certain whether it will be the octabass or the octaplus, poss even my bod

I love my 410 cabs- I have two.
Clear punchy and heavy -
They seem to be quite freely available over here.
Perhaps try a uk site? Effectspowersupplies.com have stock
It is really pretty good! -
The left in is a columbus and the right one a rocktek
Beyond that it's tough without a better picture to see the labelling of the pots -
Tempted with the screamer. If you still have it in a couple of weeks.......

Thanks for the pointers chaps.
Bartelby- ill have a look and drop you a line
A good knob joke is always welcome! -
I need the knob for my zvex distortron. It looks like the small knob you get on a jazz bass, but I need some help with confirming this, as I don't use jazz basses
-
Hey Phil. Long time no see!
-
Hi
I managed to drop my distortron yesterday and one of the Bakelite (I assume) knobs bit the dust.
Does anyone know where I could source another?
Cheers peeps -
Perhaps, although I was chatting with Richard from Stompbox / effectspowersupplies yesterday at the show, and apparently the price is down to a new distributor.
I'm told Dunlop changed due to the aggressive pricing with the previous two distributors.
This does mean that all Dunlop products prices will be increasing imminently
Richard does his best to be the cheapest in the country, and he has secured the entire first shipment -
Left with a tc mini polytune, and an ews bmc. Lovely!
Could quite easily have spent significant wedge.
Low cost instruments that sound great
