Soo true. He just exudes musicality, rather than the (to me anyway) soulless playing of wooten -
Is that the one u bought on eBay mate?
-
I tried the east river drive on Monday along with a couple of other pedals.
The east river dropped loads of low end, but had a quite pleasant character, so blending would probably work quite well.
I ended up buying the hot tubes nano. Lovely valvey fuzzy grit. Covers ground that my vmt and b3k can't.
It has a switch to bypass the tone stack. It brought the pedal to life for me. For the princely sum o £49- a real winner!
The bass wah looks very interesting. Id love to give that a whirl! -
Aaah sharay reed.
He is most definitely the man!
There are churches with players like this around, particularly in London. -
I have a friendly amp tech I use in gravesend- about 15-20 mins from the m25. If you pm me, I'll send you his number
-
Richard at effectspowersupplies.com has one on the wall in the shop. I played it on Monday.

That's right, you can get a pick-ish tone using the steel leather
-
I have "what if" by control denied on mine
Steve digiorgio + fretless= awesome metal -
The delay in switching off is controlled by a pot underneath the footplate. You can leave it to stay on for a couple of seconds or switch off immediately.
It has a level, bass, and q control.
I've certainly never had an issue with tone suck with it. Most likely that's why the demon gets used over te 105 which sits in its box -
The weeping demon by ibanez is both switchable and pressure activated.
There is tons of adjustment available, and no bass loss. I've been using mine for about 9 years.
It's one of the few pedals I haven't been tempted to change over the years -
A small number of spaces left- type bump
-
Well I got it on eBay in the end - £1.58 delivered. It just took some creative thinking with the search function there.
Thanks for all of your help though guys- it's very much appreciated -
The only time I found mine useable was into an all valve amp, and in an industrial metal band.
-
Thanks for that mate.
I think I might have found the right part on eBay.
It's cost me £1.50 to see, but I'm pretty certain it's gonna work.
It should be arriving tomorrow, so fingers crossed!! -
The chord bod 50 is great value for money.
It's branded in different ways - chord, burton among others, but still a good pedal for the money
The boss mega distortion isn't too bad and can often be found for around £35- £40 secondhand.
In fact there are lots of pedals that could be found in that kind of price range secondhand. -
Ok. Thanks for the suggestions.
I've looked at rs and Cpc. They have them, but to order 2 would cost me something in the region of £17! And all for less than £2.50 worth of parts!!
Is there somewhere I could order two without ridiculous postage costs? -
I was really impressed with both feel and sound when I played one a while ago.
Superb value for money, and I often point beginner students toward them -
I have Warwick 3 way and 5 way stands.
The older design ones.
I also have a 5 way collapsible case by Warwick.
Never had issue with any of them -
Pulsar user here on occasion.
Simple with adjustment possible. -
Hi.
A friend of mine bought a secondhand x2 system here, lent it to someone and it was returned in pieces.
I have found the part that he needs, but the only place i can find it for sale is in the states, and they have a no international delivery policy ;(
the offending part is here - http://www.fullcompass.com/product/378977.html
does anyone have any idea of a suitable alternative or this part available in the uk?
cheers -
There is one pedal I have found that can get a reasonable 'inspired by...' Tone.
That pedal is the ehx steel leather. -
Not too keen on the paint job, but would love to get my hands on a nice wave bass.
I can only put it down to tom araya and Shane embury -
I've never tried the poly mode. Singles all the way for me. I bought it for the size

This should include oasis, and a whole load of others too!
