Great customer service - if you get it, let the retailer know
I had superb customer service from Nevada Music in Portsmouth very recently. It's a really nice, comfortable and large warehouse type retailer with a good online presence. I was treated extremely well by knowlegable and friendly staff. Andy Fisher is the main bass guy there and after talking to him about my requirements and spending a couple of hours trying guitars, I walked out with a superb instrument I hadn't even considered I might want, and at a very good price. He was really helpful and it was a very pleasurable experience buying it. The display instruments are very well cared for and felt like they had just come out the box. I called back a few days later to get the email address of the manager so I could register my satisfaction with their customer service and Andy Fisher in particular. The Director emailed me back saying thank you and how they rarely get positive feedback and often think customers don't appreciate their efforts at providing excellent customer service. You know how good it feels when someone says they love your band or your playing? So, if you get great customer service from somewhere, tell them about it! Cheers, Nigel
I'll second that, i popped in a few months ago en-route to some friends in Brighton. Andy was great, let me try several cab set ups, even suggesting something I hadn't considered. Although I didn't purchase anything that day, I would have no hesitation in recomending them, based on my experience. -
You could look at the Orange SP210?
I dont mean to be funny, but does the title not say 1x10? although for a 2x10 its is cute.

Dave bought my LB30 yesterday, we chatted via pm a few times and arranged to meet halfway. Not only was he on time despite a huge traffic jam. He was a pleasure to deal with and very knowledgable about amps and the sound he is after I wish him all the very best with the little bastard and hope you have as much enjoyment out of it as i did Sam aka bozzie

My corvette is in the local shop for a set up, having it re-strung at the same time with a set of labella flats, loved them after trying them on a warwick at the bass gallery recently.
dont do this to me! I sold my lightweight markbass LMII when I wanted to get tubier, I've currently got an Ampeg Micro VR head and the matching 210 cab, I want the LB30 to replace the head. I think that it might be too little power for you though. The VR sounds great but its only 150w with the single 210. I've got a 45w 1960s Dynacord valve amp which sounds awesome but I dont really want to gig with it cos its so old. I've got a Epi Valve Jr head thats just not powerful enough for anything more than home practice and doesnt bring the bass like a real bass amp. I get paid on teh 28th, but even then I wont be able to do this, unless you want some FX in part-X? No worries if you dont. The Ampeg 210AV is great, light and small but it is an 8ohm cab that only handles 200w but if you're interrested, let me know as i bought it new and still have the box etc! I'd ideally like to use the LB30 wiith super sensitive cab and get the most volume I can out of it for practice and small gigs and use my 100w Simms Watts PA head beast for the big gigs.
Sorry but i'm really looking to downsize to the 2x10 and a micro head like a Little mark3 or an F1.

Hi Theo Initially i put up my 1x15 cab for trade, hoping to trade for something like a 2nd MB 2X10 cab, a long shot i appreciate without much luck. Since then i've decided to sell them both (the 1x15 and the LB) to downsize my rig and to get something smaller (size) amp wise like a LMK3 or an F1. Sam
You may be too far, but I have an F1 if you want to try it with your kit. I am near Woodstock. Interested in what you want sound wise, as I run an F1 through an Ashdown ABM210 and would like a 15 to add to the mix
I love the 2x10 and 1x15 combination, gives a wide varied sound. For me i'm looking to downsize, hence looking at the 2x10 and F1 combination.

Ashdown Little Bastard for sale as new. Only a few months old, looking for around £300 i understand these are currently selling new at over £500, a big saving on an amp thats seen little use and is in excellent condition. I like to look after my gear. Also still have the box and instructions that came with it. i also have a markbass 1x15 cab for sale in another post, both bought new Feb 2011.
Bump Can I ask what you will replace it with, or are you just going 210?
2x10 for the moment. Possibily another 2x10 and gonna list my amp on here soon as i'm thinking of switching to a MB F1. tried a LMK3 and an F1, prefered the sound i was getting from the F1
