Arghhhh... its gorgeous, if only it was a 72! (and I was a couple of grand richer)
Good luck with the sale fellow Clarky! -
I'm now thinking about emailing Shuker for a quote... .grrr!! I knew I shouldn't have done a bass in Photoshop, now I can see it rather than just think about it, I want it! GAS!!!

Welcome Abroad nbtone, from a quite clement - if rather damp - London.

Welcome to BC nbtone! its a great forum and full of great people and information! hope you enjoy! -
Here's my Ashdown cab looking for a new home.
Its a 1510HX, a bit different to their standard 1510HX as its a bit of an Ashdown vintage piece from 1997. I spoke to Chris at Ashdown and he told me it was one their early cabs hence the spec, and it's made from high grade yachting ply as opposed to the birch ply they now use. 1 x 15", 1 x 10" plus horn. Its 400W at 4ohms. It seriously kicks ass, I just don't have the need for it anymore and I'd rather it got used rather than sitting out in the music room all day every day.
Here's some pics of it. I'd like £200 for it.
Cheers
Steve

You really can't go far wrong with a MusicMan Stingray! I love mine, and huge ass end...
-
Okay, this has made me think today. This is my ultimate GAS. Now, I need someone to build it for me...
Modified Jazz body
Maple & maple Jazz neck with block inlays
Hipshot Ultralite tuners
Nordstrand Musicman pickup
Badass III Bridge strung through body
Aria BB active circuitry
It's basically a hybrid of a Fender Jazz, MM Stingray and Aria SB1000... -
thats inspired me, im gonna hit photoshop now!
Why noty make him an offer and see if he will cut his reserve price (still time left to do that)?
Yeah I might do that actually...

Cheers for that Clarky!
I've been watching that one for a while now, he keeps relisting it as no-one will buy it at that price! It's dropped a few hundred over the past few weeks... -
Welcome to the forum! Great to see another Japan lover here!
-
That blue jazz is a bit special, looks awesome!
-
Meh... I quite like the look of an all white P bass
-
What's the worst in your collection?
I'm going to fess up my cock-up project, I'll get it out the loft and photograph it in the morning.... -
I have a Badass III Special Edition for sale, £55.
Its brand new, never used, the packaging has been opened but its never been bolted on to a bass. Its the Badass III in chrome, with 2 sets of saddles, both smooth and grooved. Hard to get hold of now with the current Leo Quan distribution problems.
I'd consider a trade for a chrome Badass II.
Cheers -
respect for the funniest username on here, and welcome on board!

Here's my settee, I went for a nice soft brown leather one. Sorry about the basses in the way blocking the shot...

Awesome bit of work there. I'm going to do that this weekend.
I think those Schaller straplocks have screws that are slightly smaller than Fender screws, I've heard its so their screws will never crack the paint and they won't get sued...nuts but apparently true! I read it on the web so it has to be right! -
Surprised I didn't see an Ibanez Iceman bass in there though mate?
I've suddenly come over all inadequate!
I feel pretty inadequate now too!!
Gary, that is an amazing collection you have there.... I have bad gas now!!! -
Cheers Gary, the Aria just sounds so good, all the memories came flooding back when I bagged this one. All the others have become the spare basses now, I just want a SB1000 now too!
Why oh why did I sell mine back in the early 90s just for a lads holiday to the med?? major error! -
Cheers Clarky! The old P is a beaut, had it for years now!
-
ahh.... there's amps too, doh, forgot them!
i'll break my back and wheel in the ampegs in a bit.
