1.
This has become a bit of a EBMM myth im affraid, Someone was after a replacement tuner after buying a Ray in our FS section with an incorrect longer style tuner (Who was it are you reading this? :) ) this nonesense came up again, I posted a reply much like this, They emailed strings and things and fitted the correct one within a week :) The same is true if you email EBMM direct too it would seam and they reply to emails quickly.

Dont beleive the hype  Probably easier to get a copy one and cheaper I agree but even still parts are readily available direct, Mark at bass direct can get a full mute set including springs and screws for £25 all genuine EBMM parts for instance.
I had no idea! I'll email Strings&Things then and see if they can help me out!

Do you know if you can swap out the regular bridges for the ones with mutes then?

    Cheers

EDIT: hmm, if i did that do they stamp new bridges with your serial number??

Are they official or made by WD Music, do you know?

Once you have the basic slap techniques down, it's easy to play very FAST. Unmusical instrument operators find FAST impressive and they enjoy doing it, and they think others do too. But it becomes a FAST competition, much like competitive athletics.

Really musical people know other really musical people will find a single note played with extreme taste much more impressive, and that one note will say more about the player and his personality than thirty two in the same measure ever can.

Unfortunately really musical people have always been in the minority.
I think that says it all. Nice post!

  4. My Fender Jazz Aerodyne is up for sale.

Its a 2004 model, one of the early models before they started using the Strat style jack sockets on them. This one has black knurled knobs but I do have original ufo knobs that can be replaced if you want them.

It's a great bass, but I just use my Stingray more and more and this bass just isn't getting the use it deserves. It sounds great, its completely unmarked, it looks immaculate.

I'm looking for £450 for this little beauty.

If you want any more info, let me know.

    Cheers
    Steve

I should know but .......I don't! I've played since 1984 so doubt it's going to happen now.
6.
I bought a 'deep fill chicken sandwich', an Aero and a Liptons Iced Tea (Lemon) from the Tesco Metro over the road from the venue...

The Aero was a bargain at only 75p! :)
