1. Up for sale is my 1970 Fender Precision Bass. Sounds epic with the original pickups blasting out that classic P thump. Points to note as follows: - It has replacement bridge (Fender RI), tuners (Fender RI), knobs (look vintage but are not correct for the period) and strap buttons. Non original later period Fender hard case. No chrome covers - the action is set at 3/16ths at the 12th. Any lower than this and I get buzzing on the A and D strings up above the 14th fret. - It has checking to the poly finish - mainly on the body rear - It has an extra screw in the pick guard to try and hold a crack in the guard just above the end of the neck atop the E string - It has a nick out of the guard by the jack - Some of the wiring has been changed (see green wiring in the controls) - Pots date to '66 - Pups date '70 - weighs in at 8.9lbs - Not obvious, but wider fret wire and condition of frets suggests a refret All in all, a great vintage bass for a great price. 3.
Is this the standard B profile nut width? Just wanted to check, it looks like it is.
Yes, it has the standard B width at the nut. Cheers, Si
 4.
Only trade with vintage Fender ?
Sorry but yes.
 5.
My God, that's clean! Remarkable! PS: Is that a brass nut?
Well spotted that man ! Yes, it has the ol' brass nut change.....
 6. Hi All, If you are looking for a super-light, early 70s P bass in fantastic condition - this might be the one for you. A transitional period 73/4 P bass that looks like it has hardly been played - with a dead straight neck that plays with a low action right the way up the neck - and growls like only a P bass can. Weighing in at just over 8.1lbs and with just one or two dings and dongs, this is a terrific bass. A couple of pieces of wiring have been changed and the original pickups have been given additional copper shielding for better noise cancellation when playing live. Looking for £1,850 or trades with other vintage Fender. Cheers, Si

 8. Hi All, Up for sale is my all original 1972 Fender Jazz Bass with its OHSC. Plays and sounds terrific and everything works as it should. Its in fantastic condition for its age - some decent dings & wear at the top edge of the body (see pic) and a short run of thumb wear rear of neck at the cowboy end - but very little to talk about apart from that. Weighs in at 9.5lbs. Looking for £2,600......would consider trades for other vintage Fender. Cheers, Si
 9. Hi All, Up for sale is my all original 1966 Fender Jazz Bass with its OHSC. Weighs in at a nice lightweight 8.1lbs. It plays and sounds terrific with a dead straight neck and a low action - truss rod flush to the neck butt and works as it should. It has visible signs of playwear, nicks, dings, dongs etc....plus some obvious buckle rash on the body rear. Frets have plenty of life left. Fender were pumping these out at a rate of knots during this period and so whilst the neck and pots date '66, the pups date early '67. The solder is perfect. Case is in great shape, only blemish being the missing front logo. Please see the high res pics below and feel free to PM me with any questions. Looking for £4,250. Cheers, Si

 12. Hi All, Up for sale is my refinished in Sonic Blue 1963 Fender Jazz Bass. All original apart from refinished body and neck plus a replaced decal. Original brown tolex case is beat up but does a job. Plays ridiculously well with a very low action right up the neck. Sounds terrific. Trades considered for vintage Fender. 13. Hi All, Up for sale is my 100% stock 1974/5 Fender P Bass with its original case. Its nice and light at 8.5lbs and plays really well with a low action all the way up the neck. Its in fantastic condition as hopefully you can see from the pics - has one small wear spot on the edge under the little horn. Trades for other vintage Fender considered.
